Angling Shots

Establishing Shot- is generally a long or extreme-long shot at the beginning of a scene indicating where, and sometimes when, the remainder of the scene takes place.

Long Shot- typically shows the entire object or human figure and is usually intended to place it in some relation to its surroundings.

Medium Shot- is a camera angle shot from a medium distance or beginning at medium height on the object

Eye Level Shot- is the apparent distance and angle from which the camera views and records the subject

Shoot a Close up Shot- tightly frames a person or an object

Birds Eye Shot- a view of a person or object from very high in the air

Reaction Shot- a shot which cuts away from the main scene in order to show the reaction of a character to it

POV Shot- is a scene that shows what the subject is looking at represented through the camera
